Northwest October Tour
In the tour dates section you will find the links to tickets and venue information for the upcoming tour. We wanted to make mention of the organization that we are working with for the October 16 show in Seattle.
Lifelong AIDS Alliance is committed to preventing the spread of HIV, and to providing practical support services and advocating for those whose lives are affected by HIV and AIDS.
Lifelong AIDS Alliance was formed in 2001 through the merger of Chicken Soup Brigade and Northwest AIDS Foundation. We serve clients in King, Kitsap and Pierce Counties because we believe in caring for people and building a supportive community to help us in the fight against HIV and AIDS.
Today we are staffers, volunteers, donors, and community members from many different backgrounds. We are united in our determination to make sure that we never forget that HIV and AIDS still exists. We will be here to support our clients as long as there is a need. People caring for people makes all the difference.
For over 25 years Lifelong AIDS Alliance has been caring for people living with HIV and AIDS, providing crucial programs and services to prevent new infections, advocating for change and creating community. Lifelong AIDS Alliance is the largest AIDS Service Organization in the Pacific Northwest and the fifth largest in the United States.
In 2009, Lifelong’s staff and volunteers prepared and delivered over 189,000 nutritious meals, packed and distributed over 45,000 grocery bags with protein, fresh fruits and vegetables and assisted over 2,300 people who were not able to afford their health insurance premiums. Additionally, Lifelong’s education and prevention messaging reached over 233,000 individuals in high-risk populations.

We are happy to announce that we have added an additional show to the July East Coast tour. On Sunday July 18th, we will be playing in Brooklyn, NY at the JellyNYC Pool Party on the Williamsburg Waterfront. The show is free, and should be a great time, and a lot warmer than the last time we were in New York.
Other bands on the bill with us are Obits, Jeff the Brotherhood, and Silverghost.
DINNER WITH THE BAND ON JUNE 8 AT 10:30PM
It’s Burrito Night In Sam’s Kitchen And The Murder City Devils Make Their Television Debut
The new IFC Original Series DINNER WITH THE BAND is the first cooking show to combine culinary delights, musical performances and conversations with select acclaimed indie music artists. DINNER WITH THE BAND debuts April 27 at 10:30 pm ET/PT in IFC’s Tuesday night AUTOMAT programming block, following two new back-to-back 15-minute episodes of FOOD PARTY.
In each of the 30-minute episodes, celebrated NYC rock-n-roll chef Sam Mason (Tailor, WD-50), invites a band over to his Brooklyn loft where he teaches them how to add his signature culinary spin to their favorite “on-tour†food. Throughout the show, Chef Mason and the artists converse on food, music and life while cooking together. After they “chow down†they “get down†as each act takes to the loft’s living room to play a rockin’ musical set.
On June 8, DINNER WITH THE BAND will feature special guest band The Murder City Devils. The loft will be loud when the garage punk band stops by to play and eat. Sam has created a menu inspired by the burrito joint where the band’s members used to work to support their music.
On the menu: Midnight Burritos (Burritos with chorizo, refried lentils green cilantro Rice and watercress salsa verde) with a side of Salsa of Fire (tomato and raspberry salsa) to dress Sam’s homemade tortilla chips.
In between cooking, eating and drinking the Aqua Verde (Sam’s Tomatillo-based Bloody Mary), The Murder City Devils rock the loft with “18 Wheels” and “I Drink the Wine.”

Friday April 2 at The Beauty Bar Portland
Hey Everybody!
Just wanted to alert you to the awesome news that myself (DJ Merchbot2000) and Spencer “DJ Fat Buddy Holly” Moody will be spinning records for you at the Beauty Bar in Portland on April 2nd. That’s a Friday, so thats a good day to come listen to us play you records you like. And ones you’ve never heard, but probably will like. You are encouraged to dance, but if you want to sit and have a drink (of your choice) and just enjoy thats cool too.
I plan on bringing a mix of 1960s Girl Groups, Bubblegum, Soul and Garage, 1970’s Funk, 1980’s Hip-hop and maybe some French Pop mixed in.
Booty-funk? Sure.
Goth-dub? Maybe.
We will be spinning real live records. LPs. We will not be using laptops. We don’t have that software and wouldn’t know what to do with it if we did.
Hope to see some of you there.
xoxo,
Corey J Brewer
